Things to do

Toronto is an amazing city! Luckily the weather will be perfect during our wedding. You’re able to check out the following during your stay here:

Port Credit

This vibrant lakeside community is one of the GTA’s most celebrated neighborhoods. Walk, bike, drive or transit down to the main street to experience Port Credit- the ultimate destination for shopping, dining, culture and entertainment. Indulge at a number of restaurants and cafes, discover the unique shops and services, all while enjoying breathtaking views of Lake Ontario. The picturesque surroundings and bustling charm of the village will leave you feeling rejuvenated when you spend a day at the Port.

Canada’s Wonderland
Located in Vaughan, just north of Toronto, Canada’s premier amusement park features more than 200 attractions including 17 roller coasters, two children’s areas, and Splash Works, the 20-acre water park. If you’re looking for amazing things to do near Toronto with family or friends, the four-season amusement park has you covered year-round. Don’t miss the live shows and special events through spring, summer, fall, and winter.

Casa Loma
Casa Loma is Canada’s majestic Edwardian castle on the top of a hill, and Toronto’s premier historic attraction. It took 300 men nearly three years to complete the nearly 200,000 square-foot castle at a cost of $3,500,000 (at the time). The tour of the castle is self-guided. Visitors can experience the castle at their leisure with the aid of multimedia audio guides.

Ripley’s Aquarium
Explore the Waters of the World at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto at the base of the CN Tower, the aquarium is Toronto’s must-see attraction for tourists and locals of all ages. Immerse yourself in a world of 20,000 aquatic animals and discover your own underwater adventure.

CN Tower
At a height of 553.33 m (1,815 ft., 5 in), the CN Tower is Canada’s National Tower, an engineering wonder, award winning dining & entertainment destination, and Toronto’s “must see” for over 4 decades. You can get incredible views of the city and surrounding areas at sunset.

Getting Around
There are lots of ways to get around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Lyft, Uber and taxis are available, and there are a number of car rental and local/regional transit options.
